Amanda Mikalauskas
During recent times, we have witnessed first-hand an increase in anxiety in both children and adults. I must confess that I too have suffered from panic attacks, anxious thoughts and feelings.
After joining one of Stuart Thompson's online introductory sessions, I was blown away by the STILL Method's progressive structure and its immediate impact on my own confidence and I was able to conquer my fear of train travel. The six week programme develops techniques for tackling anxiety by teaching mindfulness, self-confidence and skills to give control of your body and emotions. When we are able to self-regulate, then we are also in a better frame of mind to learn or tackle every day life.
I want to empower children, working with families and young people to motivate, raise aspirations, develop growth mindset and independent learning skills. Above all, enabling children to be effective communicators who have a world of opportunity ahead of them and who are ready for the challenge!
I want to empower adults to enjoy life to the fullest, conquering the fears and thoughts that hold them back, building on their strengths, setting themselves new goals and growing in confidence.

As an ex-teacher, I was fortunate enough to have the honour of helping to guide children through some of the most important years of their lives, helping to inspire, to motivate and to support learning to enable the children to be the best that they could be!
After I saw the impact that the STILL Method made to the children in my class, it was a very easy decision to follow Amanda and train as an anxiety coach.
Life is a challenge, and we want to provide adults and children with the tools to tackle the situations life throws at us! We are both passionate about supporting the people in our community to tackle anxiety and to gain confidence to live life to its fullest!
